The presidents of the provinces of Ragusa and Siracusa Antoci Franco and Nicola Bono reached an agreement with Trenitalia , in consultation with the Regional Councillor for Infrastructure, to revive the initiative of the "train Baroque" in 2011, agreed with the municipalities of Siracusa, Noto, Scicli, Modica and Ragusa. train will be operational throughout the period of DST, ie from 27 March 2011 until 23 October 2011.

This decision will facilitate the attraction of the "Baroque train" on the market in major tourism fairs national and international, where there will be the south-east Sicily. In the coming days, Presidents Antoci Bono and promote a meeting with the mayors of the cities concerned with Trenitalia and to define the operational details of the cultural tourism initiative.
